Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WebFlux (“WebFlux,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website at webflux.ca and the services we offer (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy. If you don't agree with anything here, please don't use the Service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you give us. When you contact us, book a strategy call, apply to the Founding Operator Program, or sign up for an account, we collect details like your name, email address, company name, and anything you choose to include in messages.
  • Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we automatically collect technical information including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and how long you stayed. We use cookies and similar technologies for this.
  • Information from third parties. We use services like Stripe (payments), Calendly (scheduling), and analytics providers. When you interact with those services through us, we may receive information from them as part of delivering the Service.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Respond to questions and provide support
  • Process applications to programs like the Founding Operator Program
  • Send service-related communications (account notices, billing, security updates)
  • Send marketing communications you've opted into — you can unsubscribe any time
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Vendors who help us run the Service — hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support tools — and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WebFlux, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We'll let you know before that happens.
  • With your consent. Any other sharing we do with your permission.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure how the Service is used, and improve our product. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service may not work properly without them.

We use Google Analytics and may use marketing pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel) on certain pages. These tools may set their own cookies and collect data subject to their own privacy policies.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to provide the Service and meet the purposes outlined here, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, though, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If we ever learn of a security incident affecting your data, we'll notify you as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email us at paul@webflux.ca. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. International users

WebFlux is operated from Ontario, Canada. If you access the Service from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries with data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Children

The Service isn't directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
